They can also equip more items (class-only items, gloves, belt, boots, crossbows, axes and maces) and will drop equipped items when overwritten by another merc. Mercenaries from all Acts are more powerful with new skills and Paladin auras, which are permanently active.
Melee characters and summons deal AOE splash damage, making them competitive farmers compared to casters. You can't use regular potions in PvP Arena, arena vendors sell PvP Mana Potions. Dueling in PvP Arena won't kill Hardcore characters and Softcore players don't need to retrieve their corpse. There is a chance to encounter one of the special events whilst clearing maps. New content: revamped Ubers, Diablo Clone, Rathma, Uber Ancients, party dungeons and maps inspired by Path of Exile. New items, runewords and redesigned itemization: new properties and lots of balance changes with weak items getting buffed and overpowered items getting nerfed (read below for details). Necro/Druid has built-in Teleport skill and % life skills like Oak/BO now give flat bonuses instead of percentage.
